This work is part of #MONU #mentalisms and  it is deployed in the exhibition installation of the project.
From photographs that document different points of view of the statues near to Serrat i Bonastre High College (Barcelona)  and that become specific cases of study, the participants in the workshop generate a wide collection of images in order to reveal a visual repertoire close to the collective imagination developed throughout the process.
Alternating studio sessions, where the various individual and collective reconstructions are build, with visits on the same pieces in the real space, several issues related to the authoritarian and urbanistic uses of statues and monuments, codes of representation, historical and aesthetic criteria, as well as the consensus or the dissent on the use of the public space and the commemorative elements are introduced.
The plastic possibilities of the collage allow the agile development of appropriation of aesthetic realities that are far removed from the interest profile of the young people who, by altering the correspondences of fragments, reconstruct dislocated sculptural collection that respond to non-hegemonic and authoritarian narratives.
Conceptual and historical debates, documentation processes and the generation of new images that potentially become heterogeneous statues are accompanied by an explicitly tactile relationship with the pieces. The experience of its physicality allows a more porous and flexible apprehension of the arguments developed.
