Polyester replica Egg from Arno Jacobsen (88 x 75 x 110 cm), poster of 176 x 120 cm and light baloon lamp.

The Egg armchair, beyond being a good example of twentieth-century design, is a happy insight into the consumer yearning of late-capitalist society.
After serving the development of an economy based, in general terms, on the exploitation of a part of the population and on the satisfaction programmed by the market, the good intentions of the modern project transform the social imaginary, inducing globalization. of the idea of well-being.A replica of this armchair dropped to the ground has a rope tied around it that prevents use and refers to a certain idea of captivity. On the wall, a poster refers to a social reality external to the scene that contains the essential elements of the plot. The poster raises the issue of immigration to industrialized countries and uses the photo that appeared in the press of an illegal camouflaged under the structure of a bus seat when it was discovered by the US border police. A man-armchair as a symptom of the failure of social justice. This image is combined with a series of planimetric drawings of the Egg armchair and the word comfort as an advertising slogan. The first version of this piece was proposed in reason for the exhibition Advertising which raised the use of spaces intended for advertising in opiums and canopies in various Catalan cities. In this case, the sign was displayed on the canopy of a bus stop.
