Series of photographs taken during the demonstrations of May 1, 2007. Banners are common tools for expressing social and political slogans. At a time when parliamentary rhetoric is exhausting the avenues of expression of democracy and asking for the support of the social bases that sustain it, the liturgy and paraphernalia of the demonstrations is also called into question by its ineffective antagonistic efficiency, beyond that, a legitimate right, and the political class exclaims the growing depoliticization of the citizens.

In these photographs the slogans of the banners are erased from the photographs. Disappointment can be the price needed to remake an anemic system of social representation and an unfair political class that does not correspond to the function entrusted to it.
