12 pairs of photographies chosen for his continuity

Almost twenty years of periodic visits to an abandoned mine on the threshold of the city. A long time that allows us to capture slight changes, different appropriations of space and situations of competition between different times.

The territorial impulse that leads some individuals to leave their mark on the singularity of the place, has not counted on the entropic and transformative force of geological materials. This rupestrian effect of a clumsy contemporaneity is overcome by the acidic corrosiveness of geological chemistry.

The records deployed over the years have in common a way of looking linked to the extension and physical characteristics of space. The haptic, tactile gaze does not understand distances or orientations, rather it unfolds like an insect clinging to the ground that rubs its belly on the orographic textures. It does not matter whether it is a micro or macro gaze. The images seek pairings that give them continuity in their dislocation, generating a landscape that, like a collage, prefigures a transit where the future seems to be yesterday.
